Producers
The first and not least important step involves the producers. They are the ones who cultivate the coffee plantations. My passion for coffee truly comes to life at this stage. The human connection, those who every day ensure the care of their land and their coffee trees, is work that is far from being done under easy conditions.
If I have the utmost respect for producers and growers, it is undoubtedly due to my short stays on various plantations, where I felt love, mutual aid, and sharing despite their very modest living conditions. I therefore make it my duty at each visit to thank them for their excellent work and to emphasize their importance in this coffee transformation chain.
At Couleur Café, our primary mission is to make you taste, smell, and also feel with every sip the human effort hidden behind each bean.
Thank you to our producers and growers.
Green Coffee Buyer
Often called an importer, this is the person who finds and negotiates the price of green beans. They handle the logistics of transporting the bags to consumer countries. Couleur Café is increasingly working closely with these importers to see what is happening on the ground and to participate in the selection of these beans.
Roaster
To develop all their aromas, green coffee beans must be heated and stirred in a roaster. This is our role as master roaster: adapting the right profiles and roasts.
Barista
The barista is the point of contact between this transformation chain and you, the consumer. It is they who, behind the counter, will guide you in your coffee selection and preparation to satisfy your tastes and needs.
Enjoy your coffee! ☕️
